Scion has recently supplied a large multiple TV system to a Spanish Island hotel complex. The unique system allows the client to distribute the same TV service throughout the whole complex and manage all the buildings from any given central location through the Scion web browser software.

Using Scion’s PRO-1002 series switches in conjunction with a purpose designed looping panel which allows the channels to be distributed via CAT5e type cable around the campus.

Scion’s new PRO-1400 series incorporates many features depending on the application. They can be used as looping panels for channel distribution on multiple floors or buildings or simply used as rack mounted receivers.

A recent application is for a prison / jail in Australia, the whole Scion system is configured to allow the guard to see exactly what the person in each cell is viewing and have control of that viewing. Mainly used as an induction process and information for those individuals.
